Toxic Alarm

Privacy Policy

Effective October 8, 2026

The short version: Toxic Alarm does not collect, sell or share any personal data. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. What you create is stored on your iPhone, and we never receive it.

Who we are

Toxic Alarm is an iPhone app published by Mayer Sancivieri (“we”, “us”). This policy explains how the app handles your information.

Information we collect

None. The app has no servers of its own and never sends your alarms, scripts, recordings or usage to us or to anyone else. We do not use analytics, advertising, crash-reporting or tracking software.

What stays on your device

This data is kept in the app's private storage on your iPhone and is never sent to us, so we can't see it. So that your alarms can ring, iOS's alarm and notification system also keeps each alarm's time, repeat days, label and settings on your iPhone, and a label you add can appear on your Lock Screen when the alarm rings.

Like any app's data, your alarms, scripts and roast text are included in your iPhone's backups if you use iCloud Backup or back up to a computer. Those backups belong to your Apple Account or your computer, not to us. Roast-history audio and videos are left out of backups.

You can delete individual alarms and roasts in the app, or delete everything from your iPhone by deleting the app. Copies in backups made earlier stay there until those backups are replaced or deleted.

Permissions

Sharing

A roast video only leaves the app when you choose to share it or save it to Photos. iOS sends it to the app or person you pick, and what happens after that is covered by that app's own privacy policy.

Purchases

The app uses Apple's StoreKit. When it opens, it asks Apple's App Store for product details and checks with iOS whether you have an active purchase, even while no purchases are offered. Any purchase is processed entirely by Apple. We never receive your name, payment details or Apple Account, and nothing about your alarms or roasts is included.

Information Apple may share with us

Apple gives us aggregate App Store statistics, such as downloads. If you have turned on Share With App Developers in iOS Settings, Apple may also give us anonymous crash reports and app usage statistics. None of this identifies you, and we use it only to fix bugs and understand how the app is doing.

Children

Toxic Alarm is not directed at children under 13 and collects no information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date.
